Horsing Around on Valentines Day

Today we surprised Abby with a visit to EquiFest of Kansas. It's a huge horse exposition at the Kansas Coliseum. There were clinics, workshops, trick riding, tons of vendors and even a great kids area that Abby enjoyed...as you can see from those couple of pictures. Hopefully you can see the video of her riding Meadowlark, a big, beautiful girl. Tons of horses equals...you guessed it...tons of poop! Abby couldn't believe all the poop everywhere. We saw so many beautiful horses of every shape, size and color. We saw several horses that were rescued from purposeful starvation and abuse. And the Cowgirl Chicks trickriding team was amazing. After the show, we ate at one of our favorite places, the Whiskey Creek steakhouse in Old Town. We even had S'mores for dessert. Too much fun! Happy Valentines Day!!!
