These snow pics are a little late coming. We had snow a couple of weeks ago and it was around 4 degrees outside. Abby has been wanting to get out so badly and Daddy took a little time off at lunch to spend about 10 minutes outside to play. We didn't have much snow but Abby sure didn't care. She had such a blast and got her fill of cold weather very soon. She was ready to come in and have some hot chocolate.
We are expecting to get a mix of wintry weather sometime this weekend. Thankfully, we dodged the severe weather yesterday with tornadoes in the Oklahoma City, OK area and east of us as well. Around 15 people died in the storms and several are still missing.
The temps have been in the 60's & 70's here the past few days - way too warm for this time of year. I love the warmer weather, but around here it can be especially dangerous. I'm thankful we have a basement.
I hope to have some more pics for you this weekend. We will be seeing Anita Renfroe in concert Friday night. She's a Christian comedian. We will be attending Equifest on Saturday, with horse shows and clinics going on all day. There will also be an area for children with pony rides and activities. That will be a great Valentine treat for Abby.
